About Me

I’m currently a Lead Designer at NOVA working on a high-growth product connecting creatives and those who hire them. I love the intersection of business and design and enjoy the high impact nature of start-ups.

I teach user experience design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Previously, I was at Instrument working with some amazing clients like Marriott, Sonos, Salesforce, Epic Games, and more.

Home Search Redesign
Luxury Presence - 2023
6 months

Redesigning an entire home search tool is no small feat. Working within the limitations of a fast-paced, Series B startup, I collaborated closely with a product and engineering manager to re-design our home search tool. We introduced 20+ improvements across the tool improving search, filtering, map browsing, and more.

Dorsal Health
2022–2023
1 year

As the first hire at a pre-seed, cutting-edge tele-health startup aimed at helping individuals with chronic pain find relief, I led many pivotal projects.  First, a large re-branding effort aimed at blending the right balance of approachable and trusted with modern and fresh.

I also led the design of a web application and mobile application aimed at providing chronic pain services like physical therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, all through a multi-person care team. I collaborated with one other designer and an engineering team.

Epic Games
Instrument - 2021
6 months
With a team at Instrument, I worked on two project initiatives for Epic Games. The first initiative: to unify their notification panel. Over time, different notification types created by different teams fell out of consistency. Through iteration, pressure testing, and collaboration we created a new cohesive set of notification UI. The second initiative: to improve and revamp the UX of moving products back and forth between the shopping cart and wishlist.

Marriott Bonvoy
Instrument - 2019
12 months
With 30+ hotel brands under the Marriott umbrella and a newly introduced Marriott Bonvoy™ loyalty program, I helped to design a mobile app and design system from scratch. My team at Instrument and I focused on designing an app that adapted contextually to different key stages of a guests journey, elevated the importance of the Bonvoy loyalty program beyond hotel stays, and allowed each individual hotel brand to shine at certain moments while still giving the Marriott brand elevated spaces.

Salesforce
Instrument - 2020
12 months
I worked on a series of projects for Salesforce including a revamp of their brand and a redesign of salesforce.com/blog. The brand evolution work focused on finding ways to use Salesforce’s core brand elements: product, people and planet in a fresh, cohesive way. Redesigning the blog utilized the aforementioned brand evolution artifacts and focused on implementing categories, tagging for wayfinding, and elevating author voices.

Sonos
Instrument - 2019
6 weeks
Worked on a series of content projects including mobile app banners, advertisements and promotions, website pages, emails, and other marketing tidbits.

Intuitive
Instrument - 2020
6 weeks
Designed an app store logo for Intuitive Surgical and their series of products. This project consisted of several weeks and 100s (maybe even 1000s) of logo iterations.

Cannondale
Instrument - 2018
9 months
Assisted with the design of Cannondale.com. We revamped the site with an emphasis on e-commerce best practices and refreshed the visual identity giving Cannondale a new, sporty fresh look.
